Short Profile:

Konstantin Winter is a GCF member since 2018 and has been appointed Treasurer of GCF in the same year.

From 2016 to 2021, he has been Executive Assistant to GCF’s Chairman Prof. Carlo Jaeger and Head of Administration (Support Process).

Konstantin has an academic background in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of Erfurt, in Political Science (with a focus on International Relations and Energy Policy) from the Freie University Berlin, and in Management Accounting via the Institute of Management Accountants.

Prior to GCF he has been working at the Freie University Berlin for the Comparative Politics / Environmental Policy Research Centre (FFU) and the Berlin Centre for Caspian Region Studies (BC CARE) as Research Assistant and Assistant to the Director, as well as in the energy sector for the logistics department of the Wintershall Natural Gas Trading House (WIEH) in Berlin.

He currently works for Human Technopole Foundation in Milan, Italy as science manager in the Research Centre for Computational Biology, overseeing the Centre’s administration.
