Paul supports the OBFA-TRANSFORM project as a Research Assistant. He will complete his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Münster this summer. In autumn 2026, he will begin the EPOG-JM Programme at the HWR Berlin and Sorbonne Université. His current research focuses on historical transformations, specifically the German Democratic Republic and the West German reconstruction period. Furthermore, he is interested in the intersection of political economy and institutional change.

Beyond his research, Paul is an active member and Treasurer of the Netzwerk Plurale Ökonomik. In this capacity, he has been involved in organizing academic events, advocating for curriculum reform, and applying interdisciplinary approaches to economic education.
