Fanny Chaltiel is a Research Assistant within the OBFA-TRANSFORM group at the Global Climate Forum. Her work examines historical cases of reconstruction finance, applying the group’s framework to contemporary scenarios to understand how past experiences can inform the funding of the Green Transition.

Fanny holds an engineering degree from École des Ponts ParisTech, with a specialization in sustainable finance. Her research is driven by a deep interest in how public and private capital can be mobilized to address the large-scale challenges of decarbonizing the global economy. Prior to joining the Global Climate Forum, she worked at a research institute dedicated to catalyzing market development in climate, biodiversity, and inclusive finance, where she supported initiatives to develop funding channels for climate-resilient practices and technologies.
