Gregor Laudage is a Ph.D. student and a law clerk at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg.
After studying at the University of Goettingen, Gregor passed the first state examination in Lower Saxony, which is equivalent to a Master’s degree. His doctoral thesis focuses on whether and how the Eurosystem could conduct a green monetary policy under the current legal framework. After graduating, Gregor worked as a research assistant at the University of Goettingen and the University of Bremen as well as at an international law firm in Hamburg. Besides his PhD thesis, he is interested in off-balance-sheet fiscal agencies. In an ongoing research project, he co-developed a framework for assessing Germany’s fiscal ecosystem from a legal and political economy perspective.
